Who we are

ZEYTA ("we", "us") builds an AI front desk for trades businesses in Ireland. We decide how and why the personal data described here is used, so we are the data controller. You can contact us about anything in this policy at zeytaai339@gmail.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers this website, the demo request form, and the personal demo links we send. It doesn't cover the ZEYTA product itself once you're a customer; that has its own terms and data processing agreement.

What we collect

  • Demo request form: your name, business name (optional), phone number or email, and any message you write.
  • Personal demo: the name, business name and trade we set up for your link; a recording and transcript of your demo call; the details ZEYTA notes during the call (whatever you choose to say, for example a name, area, phone number or the job you describe); your answers to the short questions after the demo; any feedback you leave; and which steps of the demo you used and when.
  • Technical data: basic server logs from our hosting provider (such as IP address and browser type) for security, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to stop the request form being spammed.

The demo call is a role-play. You don't need to give real personal details on it, and you're welcome to make them up.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To reply to your demo request and send your personal demo link. Basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
  • To run your demo and show you how ZEYTA would work for your business. Basis: our legitimate interest in demonstrating our product to people who asked to see it. You're told the call is recorded before you start it, and you choose whether to start it.
  • To follow up with you about ZEYTA, including a short personal video and a call. Basis: your consent, which you give with the tick box on the request form and can withdraw at any time.
  • To improve the demo and the product, and to keep the site secure and prevent misuse. Basis: our legitimate interests.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf and under contract:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website.
  • Supabase, which stores demo requests and demo records in a data centre in the EU (Paris).
  • Retell AI, which runs the demo calls, including speech recognition, the AI voice and the AI that holds the conversation. Retell uses its own sub-processors for these, such as voice (ElevenLabs) and language-model providers.
  • Brevo, which sends our team an email alert when a demo request comes in or a demo finishes. These alerts include your name, business, contact details and any answers or message you gave us.
  • Google, which hosts the mailbox those alerts arrive in.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based in, or use services in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on a recognised safeguard, such as the provider's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Demo requests: 12 months, then deleted.
  • Demo records (transcript, noted details, answers, feedback and steps): 90 days from when we created your link, then deleted.
  • Call recordings and transcripts held by Retell AI: 30 days, then deleted.
  • Email alerts to our team: only as long as we need them to follow up with you, and no more than 12 months.
  • If you become a customer, what we keep is set out in your customer agreement.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email zeytaai339@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie), the supervisory authority in Ireland. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, and it doesn't track you across other sites. Remembering that you've closed our cookie notice is stored only in your own browser. Our team's admin login uses one essential cookie, which only applies to us.

AI and automated decisions

The demo uses AI to hold the conversation, note details and write a short summary. It doesn't make any decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Security

Demo data is kept in a private database that can only be reached by our server, using secret keys that never reach your browser. Personal demo links are long and random, and our admin area requires a login.

Children

Our website and demos are for businesses and aren't intended for anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we'll update this page and the date below.
